Hassan is a 5 year old boy who is in top class and in his first year at school. He comes from a family of 4 whose household income depends on fishing since they live at the landing site of Namirembe. They live in a two-roomed house which is rented by their father. He walks for about 500 meters to school with his friends from the same village. Reading is his favorite subject and has a dream of becoming a doctor in future. While at school, he plays soccer with his friends like Brian and while at home, he helps his parents with fetching water from the lake and also washing utensils. His special needs include bedding, shoes and food.
