Martin is a five-year-old boy who lives with his mother and his two siblings. He is a cheerful and active child currently studying in middle class at Emmanuel Community School. Martin is still young, but he already shows great potential and a strong desire to learn despite the difficult situation his family is facing.

Martin’s life changed when his father abandoned the family. His father left them and is now living with another woman in a different district. This has left Martin’s mother with the full responsibility of raising and providing for the children alone. Without support from the father, life has become very challenging for the family.

To meet the needs of her children, Martin’s mother works extremely hard every day. She does casual work such as washing clothes for people in the community to earn some money. She also digs in people’s gardens and farms to get additional income. Even though the work is tiring and the pay is small, she continues to struggle so that her children can have food and attend school.Martin is a bright child who enjoys going to school. He likes being with his classmates and learning new things. However, the family’s financial situation makes it hard for him to have all the necessities required for school. Martin’s special needs include school shoes, a school sweater, and food.
