School Construction at Emmanuel School

As previously mentioned, we received a donation from Canada of 180,000 DKK for the construction of 5 classrooms. We have now laid the foundation and are in the process of building the walls. New classrooms are much needed as the old ones, made of wood, are falling apart.

Malaria Season

It is currently malaria season, so the clinic is busy treating sick people from the local area. Many arrive late and therefore require IV drips or injections.

The clinic has been without power since yesterday, so our electrician Jonathan had to go up into the attic, where he found parrot eggs and a parrot that had been enjoying itself by chewing on our wires—both internet and electrical…
