Sam is a ten-year-old boy who is currently in Primary 2 at Emmanuel Community School. He lives with his grandmother because his parents are separated. His grandmother is a peasant farmer, and she earns some income from farming to support their family. Sam is one of twelve children living with his grandmother, and they all rely on her to provide for them.

Despite the challenges he faces, Sam is a bright and active boy in school. He enjoys participating in different activities and is always eager to learn. One of his favorite sports is playing soccer, which he loves to do during break time and after school. Besides playing soccer, Sam also engages in drama and music activities at school, where he expresses his talents and enjoys performing in front of others.

Sam’s favorite subject in school is mathematics. He finds joy in solving problems and learning new concepts in numbers, which makes him stand out as a diligent student. His enthusiasm for learning shows that he is determined to succeed despite the difficulties in his family life.

Like many children his age, Sam has some special needs. He requires school fees to continue his education, as well as proper shoes and a school uniform.
